Sarina Virmani is the founder and executive director of ElevateVoices. Through her experience, Sarina has found that debate skills and public speaking are crucial tools for advocacy and social change. Recognizing that access to public speaking and debate opportunities are often limited to those with significant resources, Sarina created ElevateVoices to break the cycle of inequality.
In addition to leading ElevateVoices, Sarina is a World Literacy Foundation Global Ambassador and an accomplished debater, earning national recognition in Public Forum debate. She also serves as a representative on the Loudoun County Equity Committee and the Youth Advisory Committee, where she helps organize events and create policies that promote leadership, equity, and community engagement. She’s passionate about the environment as well, confounding a podcast that is dedicated towards exploring the interaction between sustainability and business. She strongly believes in amplifying the voices of those who are underrepresented to make positive change and is excited to keep growing ElevateVoices.
