About Us

Sarina Virmani is the founder and executive director of ElevateVoices. Through her experience, Sarina has found that debate skills and public speaking are crucial tools for advocacy and social change. Recognizing that access to public speaking and debate opportunities are often limited to those with significant resources, Sarina created ElevateVoices to break the cycle of inequality.

In addition to leading ElevateVoices, Sarina is a World Literacy Foundation Global Ambassador and an accomplished debater, earning national recognition in Public Forum debate. She also serves as a student representative for the Loudoun County Superintendent Advisory Board, the Loudoun Youth Advisory Committee, and the Loudoun County Equity Committee, where she helps organize events and create policies that promote leadership, equity, and community engagement. She is deeply passionate about environmental issues, co-founding a school club dedicated to sustainability initiatives and a podcast that explores the connection between business and the environment. She strongly believes in amplifying the voices of those who are underrepresented to make positive change and is excited to keep growing ElevateVoices.
